Lieutenant Governor to visit Northern Schools

Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield will visit 6 schools in the North to present the Lieutenant Governor’s Award of Excellence.
 
The Northern Student Achievement Awards were established in 1989 by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education.  The Lieutenant Governor’s Award of Excellence recognizes one student at each grade level from 7 to 12.  The award criteria include academic standing, school attendance, and involvement in cultural activities.

Wednesday, October 18, 11:15 am – Minahik Waskahigan High School, Pinehouse
Lieutenant Governor’s Award recipient:  Damien Georges
 
Wednesday, October 18, 2:00 pm - Churchill Community High School, La Ronge
