Lieutenant Governor to host New Year’s Levee

Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017
Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield invites everyone to attend the annual New Year’s Day Levee on January 1st from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Government House in Regina.
“I look forward to my New Year’s Levee each year, but this year is particularly special as it is my final opportunity to host this historic event as Lieutenant Governor. It has been a tremendous privilege to represent our Queen in our magnificent province over the past 6 years, and truly the best part of the job has been to meet the amazing people of Saskatchewan. I warmly invite everyone to join me at Government House, which is so beautifully decorated for the season.” said the Lieutenant Governor.
The Levee is free of charge.  Guests have an opportunity to meet the Lieutenant Governor in a receiving line, enjoy refreshments and entertainment, and children can visit the craft room. The event will also feature the RCMP Heritage Centre’s Virtual Reality Musical Ride experience.
Free parking will be provided at EVRAZ Place at the Lewvan Drive entrance with a free shuttle service between the EVRAZ parking lot and Government House.
