Donny Parenteau to headline the Lieutenant Governor’s Canada Day Celebration
Saturday, July 1st from 1-4 p.m. at Government House - 4607 Dewdney Avenue in Regina
Just one month until The Lieutenant Governor’s Canada Day Celebration with an exciting array of entertainment including long-time favourites and some first-time talent.
Donny Parenteau is a proud Métis musician from Prince Albert who picked up the fiddle at age fourteen and never looked back. He thrilled our Canada Day crowd in 2019 with his lively country music and we are delighted he is headlining for us again this year. Donny spent twelve years touring along side singer Neal McCoy and sharing the stage with country music icons like Merle Haggard, Tim McGraw, Shania Twain, and Reba McEntire. His album, Bring It On, is the only album placed in a time capsule at the Regina Legislative Building. Donny has also performed live on Canada Day at Parliament Hill in Ottawa!
