You are invited to the Lieutenant Governor's New Year’s Day Levee!
Come celebrate the New Year at Government House on January 1st from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Bring your friends and family to celebrate the start of 2025. Exchange seasons greetings and snap a photo with Their Honours Russ and Donna Mirasty.
Enjoy complimentary festive beverages and appetizers in the ballroom. Try a refreshing glass of punch served from the huge silver punch bowls or sip a glass of sherry. Coffee and tea are also available along with hot and cold hors d'oeuvres.
Musical entertainers will be performing throughout the house featuring guitarist Ray Bell with Metis fiddler Tahnis Cunningham, harpist Glenna Stewart, pianist Jim Gallagher, and a quintet of members of the Regina Mandolin Orchestra.
Explore Government House while it is all decked out for the holiday season with gorgeous Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands, poinsettias and lights.
2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the flag of Canada and we will be kicking off the celebration. Our maple leaf mascot – Salut – will be on hand to join in the fun. Kids can spend some time colouring Canadian flags too.
Free parking available in the public lot off Dewdney Avenue just east of Government House.
The Lieutenant Governor hosting a New Year’s Day Levee is a tradition in Saskatchewan that stretches all the way back to 1884! Don’t miss this special annual event.
